Asynchronous Video Interviews (AVIs) allow candidates to record responses to predefined questions using digital devices. Evaluating personality traits and job-related competencies through AVIs provides a structured setting for research on automatic personality and competency assessment. We introduce AVI6, a trait-activated multimodal dataset of mock AVIs containing 3,876 videos from 646 participants who completed a simulated management traineeship application. Interview questions were designed by psychologists to reflect real-world selection contexts and to activate personality traits based on Trait Activation Theory. Annotations for HEXACO personality traits and job-related competencies were provided by trained evaluators and professional recruiters.
